Anyone have a Ignition Control Module for sale?

Looking for an ICM for a 2002 Superhawk.
The one that fits under the seat , not on the side of frame.(see pic)

Mine is bad I and I am having a hard time finding one.....
Let me know if any of you have a spare they could part with.

Thanks.

8541Hawk will become famous soon enough
Well I don't have a '02 but I will say that does not look like any factory SH component I have seen.

You said the bike had an alarm installed? Could that box be the alarm?

You should have a ECU\ICM (whatever you want to call it) & Converter box mounted on the rear sub-frame and that should be it.

+1

If you have an alarm with an immobilizer and that has shorted or gone defunct then that's the problem.

If you can't figure the fried wire, go through the service manual and double check all ignition related wiring and find where the dead spot is.

If it's a full immobilizer, it'll be on the battery lead to the fuse box. If it's an ignition immobilizer it most likely cuts between the yellow/black lead from the kill switch to the ICU/ECM that Mike described that's tucked in your subframe. You can pull apart your kill switch connector, and check for continuity there and the ICM/ECU and that'll give you an idea.

O.K thanks guys.

Thanks for pointing out that this is the alarm unit

bassfordude-Thanks for the information.I know that something on the alarm is faulty/shorted, which is definately affecting whether I get spark or not.I will go over the wiring in more detail and see if I can track down the problem.

I would like to just cut out the alarm completely, but that looks like a rewire job way over my head.
