FS: 98 Superhawk - $1500 - Seattle
36k miles. Runs great, but could probably use a carb rebuild soon and some of the radiator hoses replaced (fairly simple).
Custom paint job. New battery. Corbin seat. Pirelli Corsa 3 tires. APE Manual CCTs. Updated matching alternator/stator/reg/rectifier. Zero Gravity double-bubble wind screen. 1 year old rear tire and 2 year old front tire (rear replaced due to nail) with most of the tread left. Serviced at i-90 motorsports for the last few years, serviced at University Honda prior to that. Did oil changes every 3k with full synthetic or Honda HP-4 (blend) myself (when not at major service interval).
It was dropped at a stop light some 10 years ago, but you can't tell anymore as I replaced the stock cans with new ones.
PM me if you're interested. i'm offering it here before I offer it up on craigslist. It's stock, always has been, been babied for the most part with very regular oil changes.
This forum has been a gold mine for me. I appreciate all the knowledge provided, and my superhawk has been good to me for a long time, but it's time to move on to a new bike.

Aloha, Sorry to hear about your parting. My Hawk has brought me such good memories
I can imagine what you are going through.. If you were located in Hawaii, I would be at your house right now with the cash.
Best wishes on your new ride, whatever you decide. Everything has its time. I have a '98 also. I will keep her as long as she will let me. IMHO, You might get alot more by parting her out. RIDE WELL....

rtinti, thanks for the P.M. reply. As you mentioned, it would be a lot easier for you to unload bike locally. It is a really good price(especially for Hawaii). I guess its just one of the "perks" of living in Hawaii, having to pay about $800-$1000 more on a local bike.
She really is a fine example though.
Best Wishes on your New Ride. What ever you choose, RIDE WELL!!!
