Who ever came up with this is genious...I replace fluid Wed, zip tied the lever to handle, went out an hour ago to check on it. took her for a spin, wow...talk about no air in the lines, I don't think I have ever felt that before!! LOL...

Anywho, great idea, and it works well....

I have used this trick before - thanks to an old friend on the FZR Archives years back and it works great!

 

I feel a partnership coming on....I like it, I like it too much!! LOL

I see logo's stamped on each tie, maybe even individually sealed in there own sleeve..etc...etc...They need to be thicker, and wider than the normal tie...perhaps we should not be discussing this on an open forum where someone will surely steal our concept....to the PM's And then to take over the WORLD!!!!!!! ahaahaahaa

how do I do this with a zip tie?

 

you may have to use 2...pull brake lever back then zip tie it to the handle, leave it for 24 to 48 hours, this will allow air bubbles to travel up and into the MC...in theory....nah, it works...

 

You apply the lever for a long length of time (I use overnight) and the pressure on the system forces the air bubbles to the top (master cylinder reservoir). A now patent pending zip tie does the trick. Plus turn the forks to the left to get the mc as high as possible.

You'll be greeted with rock hard abs.... ummm, I mean, a firm lever in the morning. I consider it periodic maintenance.

Been doing this for 20 years on Dirt abd Street bikes. I usually do it before a long weekend ride of a full day of riding planned.

Simple and alwaya works.

You know... we use these really funky blueish flight zip ties at work that I think would work for this patient. There about 7 bucks a piece!

No,

All you do is put Zip Tie around the grip and brake lever, pull the lever to the grip and tighten the zip tie, Go to bed come back next day and cut the zip tie off.

Go ride and feel the difference......
