Question wires going to left fork at brakes?

I am in the process of reassembling my 98 SH that I just bought, and I noticed a wire running down the left fork down to where it attaches to the wheel. When I traced it up it went to some unhooked connection up near the speedo. Anyone know what this is, or if it is even supposed to be there at all?

I can take pictures if needed.

Thanks
-Dave

No, if you're going for stock get rid of them and forget about it.

Yup, you can get rid of it. Probably the sensor for a bicycle computer.

Bicycle computer sensor wire with pickup missing. look for a magnet glued somewhere on the left front rotor carrier.
