Wiring for a generic 3 prong flasher relay?

I decided to install a generic turn signal relay to make the Buell blinkers I have work with the flush mounts up front (they had different blink rates, I thought this would make life easy) I don't think I wired it correctly and it blew the fuse for the turn signals.

SO while I am at it, anyone know which wires from the turn signal relay would go to the Load, Power and + or X on the generic truck flasher relay?

Just a thought did you remember to put back the earth wire under one of the fixing bolts?

As long as you followed the sticky instructions for the correct fitment of the red and green wires it will be wired correctly, but double check that you had the rectifier the correct way up as the sticky shows when connecting those two wires.

Dude good luck with that electrical ****, I just kept messing around with the wires till it worked. Nothing blew up on me and I tried some crazy ****, anyways it works now, but my R/R has one extra prong that no wires go to.

No, I got the R/R all hooked up and its fine, I just need to know from some electrical wizard out there which wires from the stock flasher go to the L, P, and X designations on the generic flasher relay... the only one I know for sure is L is "load". And I believe the X connection is also +, meaning juice from the battery. I thought P meant "power" but that is not what the P stands for. I am going to guess the Green wire goes to L, the Grn/White goes to the X, and the Gray wire goes to P... But I am out of fuses for the turn signal circuit and want to make sure before I hook it back up. I am thinking about just using the stock flasher and getting all my bulbs correct which would fix the flash rate (instead of using a $4 tractor flasher relay).

EDIT: I found out that the P designates "Panel" or "Pilot Light" for cars where there is an idiot light for the indicators... I am guessing now that there is no ground or green wire used, but that doesn't make sense either... If anybody knows, I am betting it's Tweety. Tweety man, if you read this, let me know what the deal is! PLEASE.

supermarto, either you've completely changed you original question or I'm losing it???

Personally I think the clue is in the title:- Wires crossed on R/R swap?
