water pump seal question

I need to replace my mechanical seal on an 05 motor. The manual says to replace the bearing too but do I need to? I ask because I already waited for the seal from Ronayers.

Has anyone done this?

As long as you're in there, you may as well. I replaced mine and it feels great knowing that I don't have to worry about it for another 20,000+ miles. Peace of mind.

Ugg yeah but it will take forever to get it from Ronayers. My only other option is the stealership but I like my bike enuff to suck it up just to make it right.

How much did you guys pay? (ronin and crux)

Found my receipt from 2010. Looks like I replaced everything.
- Bearing, $12.50
- Oil Seal, $4.75
- Mechanical Seal, $55.25
- Gasket(?), $6.50
- R. Cover Gasket, $27.95

I also had the shop press out the old parts and press in the new parts since I don't have a hydraulic press. But I did the rest of the work.
