undertail cutting????

undertail cutting????

do i have to cut alot when installing an undertail just an all fiberglass one that goes up flust under the tail light and re located the seat lock under neith

Suggestion- DON'T cut it -if it hasn't been cut.. There was a member looking for a UN-cut undertail -- last month.. See if you can make the trade... Beside the expense of a Un-Cut undertail -Well it ain't cheap..

ok maybe i worded it wrong i baught an undertail kit and i think i need to cur the factory undertail/tray.so in order to install the kit i need to cut the tray and if i shouldnt cut it why shouldnt? is it bad to cut them>

I think the first reply was saying don't cut the stock black plastic inner rear fender. Remove it and offer to trade it for one that has been cut, or keep it and acquire an already cut one. Some one may trade you a cut one and pay you something additional for your stock inner fender.

oh i see ok, are they hard to find? and how hard is it to cut all the plastic needed out for the undertail
