Angry Speedometer light burnt out 98 VTR1000

My speedometer light has gone out, any suggestions on how to change it? Is it a fuse that needs replaced or an actual bulb?

It is an actual bulb, 194 style. Just pull the cluster bolts so you can get to the back of it and pull out the socket. Easy change.

Are the cluster bolts the ones on the top by the speedometer and rpm gauges?

There's 3 or 4, hex head bolts. 10mm I believe. That silver allen head on the face of the cluster stays there.

Bulbs are held in from the backside by friction.

Be sure to keep the new bulb clean when installing.
