hardrider40 is on a distinguished road
my vr burnt up time to replace
What would be the best route for swapping does any regulator work and do I have to get one for more than a 600 CC bike? Do they all work the same?

The first step would be to search for regulator then read some of the dozens of threads that exist about it.
