setting the TPS

setting the TPS

hi guys, is it possible to set the TPS correctly with the carbs out of the bike?

I would say no.Anytime you move the throttle the TPS moves and changes it's output value.So unless you know your idle speed is set were it is supposed to be the setting you make will change if you have to reset your idle speed.I don't believe it says this in the manual but it will change however little.

I did mines carbs out, setting the TPS to 500 ohms will retard the timing specially at lower RPM lowering efficiency, but will smooth out operation.
I will revert to a more aggressive setup this summer, more like stock.
