RR Fork question

I've dug and dug around on here, and I think I've seen it on here before. But my question is as follows. I have a '05 VTR (kinda duh but wanted to clarify)Im using an '07 cbr1000 rr lower triple and matching '07 forks. For the upper Id like to use the Cb1000r Upper because I wanna run a handlebar and would pay the difference to have it look clean as apposed to drilling a '07 RR upper which is what im about to do but would rather order a cb one if itll line up?

Any help or pointing to the right direction would be great
