Hello folks. Just wondering what tyre you are running on the rear.
My bike came with a near new Metzeler Z6 Roadtec (a supposedly harder touring tyre, bloody hopeless on this thing) and it's down to steel threads showing after 2500 kms.
The acceleration of the bike is very addictive thus rear tyres will tend to be short lived I'm afraid.

 

I have two of the same bike(RC51), also the Superhawks.. I ride the curvy roads/and track days here in Western North Carolina. We have riden on the M6, M1 Metzeler with some differents in milage... We get about 1000 miles more milage on the RC51, Both my bikes have had suspension work (GMD computrack) so, It is the suggestion,
Rear tires on Big C.C. bikes (anything over 600cc) usually don't last....
