Owners manual

I just got a 1998 SH without an owners manual. The previous owner gave me a CDof the Honda Service/Shop manual, but I want to know service intervals, etc that are not in the shop manual. I have read through several threads on this forum and have googled for a while unsuccessfully. In searching through this forum I noticed that several others do not have the owners manual either. And I see no one has offered where to get one. How can these be so rare, why do they not cone with the bike? I can't imaging buying a new one without the manual. Do people loose them? That's nuts! Enough ranting already!

Also, does anyone know how much fuel the stock 1998 tanks holds and how much fuel is left when the 'reserve' light comes on?

TIA for your help.

superhawk22 is an unknown quantity at this point
It does come with the bike, unfortunately a lot of previous owners keep them. As far as where to get them, good question you might be able to get one through Honda.

I believe the general consensus is 3.5 gallons, with 0.5 of that after the RLOD turns on.

Available at your friendly local honda dealer. Usually about $8 or so. When they are NLA, you can get vintage owners manuals and shop manuals here:
