Question about Left Handle Switch Position

Hi All... Does anyone else have an issue with the high beam switch hitting the fairing and switching on whenever you crank the wheel all the way over to the right?

As far as I know the bars on my bike are stock and there is allegedly a pin that positions the switch (Haven't unbolted it yet though so i am not 100% sure on the alignment pin.)

Seems like an odd design flaw if this is normal, and it's really annoying!

Unlikely your bars are stock. What you are describing is what happens with VFR bars. I installed VFR bars and this will happen. With my stock bars the switch was no where near the fairing.
Snap a pic and I can tell you for sure.

sounds like vfr bars to me also. mine will honk the horn also if you turn it too far, it touches the tank. thats nice when you pull up somewhere!

Lightbulb

LOL - No photo necessary I think! I just went out to snap a pic with my phone, and for the first time noticed the small word "HELI" embossed in the side of the bar. Yeah... sometimes I am a bit slow.
