noise from the front cylinder

Hello everyone! After a failed cct, the front one , I replaced both cct at a service! They didnt took off the cylinder head to verify the valves, but they tooked a look under the camshaft! Now the engine starts easily but I hear a noise from the front cylinder and the idle is unstable sometimes! At idle I hear carb farts!when I ride it my engine works ok, it s strong! What is the problem?

Sounds like an intake valve is slightly bent. Have the compression checked.

Thank you! I was to a Suzuki service and they verified the valve clearance and after that they ve done a compresion test(the results were 128kpa front and 125kpa back cilinder)! The unstable idle was from a failed tube from the fuel tank! They told me that the noise is coming from my front cam chain!I live in Romania and the price from a cam chain here is about 155euro(oemmotorparts.)!Can somebody help me with a cheap parts site???

I'm fairly sure you will have a hard time finding wemoto or DID camchains... But I could be wrong...

And it also sounds a bit strange to me that the chain in itself would make noise... Unless the CCT failure did indeed mean a full failure where metal parts collided at high speed the camchain would be completely unhurt and would not be making noise... And if that had happened it's more than likely that other parts would need replacing long before the cam chain...
