Need Help Locating Parts

Hello all,
I’m currently fixing up a 1998, 996 SH, what I find about this peculiar bike is that it has a brembo cable clutch setup. What I’m looking for to get this bike back on the road is the clutch lever itself. I have done a search on the internet & here on this forum, but have not found what I’m looking for.
On the clutch master assembly is marked with 1X01-12 (1X zero1-12) or 1XD1-12. Any help locating this part or any good leads would be greatly appreciated.

Hope to be around the forums & meets, if all go’s well.
I’ll have a proper intro & about myself & pictures of the the bike once it’s road worthy
Thanks

Welcome aboard. Have you tried contacting brembo? Try brembo.com/US. I didn't see at 800# but they at least have a contact form you may have some luck with.

Interesting, somebody converted the hydraulic clutch to a cable one. Personally, I prefer hydraulics, but then I've never used a Brembo cable setup either.

Just think about the work involved too. I can't visualize any way to do this simply. The VTR has a pushrod that the clutch actuation cylinder operates by pushing. Most cable clutches work in the opposite manner, as the cable will be pulling on any actuation lever. Bit of work invlolved with linkages to get it to operate I think.

Also, since when did Bremo make a cable operated anything? I thought they only did hydraulics?

Some pictures might explain what has been done.

Hmm I always thought when i first got the hawk its the most cleanest set up I have ever seen when I first got my bike most bike have cable like the ZX-9 my friend got. When i saw the hawk clutch i thought it was the neatest of them all.

Good luck man I always hate looking for one particular part. Its a nightmare I feel you man.
