Lost Power doing 60...

Doing 60 down the freeway and my bike just lost all power, after I coasted to the shoulder (luckily it was late and no one was out) and tried to restart her I got nothing. All power was gone and had to have her towed home . Any ideas?

No electrical power, no nothing. Looks like from the responses its the R/R. Guess the 60.00 I dropped to buy a manual finally paid off. Thanks everyone.

Trade that manual for a battery! Search "strange electrical problem" on the forum. Then google "electrosports fault finding chart"

Good luck

PS service manual is here too.

If you have NO electrical power then check your main fuse first. If it's blown then obviously there was a reason for it, but you can at least start your troubleshooting efforts after you get power back.
