LED flasher unit problem

Hi guys,

I just installed front and back LED turn signals. They work great with the stock flasher relay except for the fast blink rate. I wanted to have a clean install and no resistors so I purchased the electronic LED friendly flasher from Clearalternative. After plugging in the LED flasher I get no response from the turn signals. The factory relay has three pins, LED two pins with an adapter for the factory plug. Any ideas, it is the weekend and Clearalternative is closed???

Thanks,
Pawel (Paul)

Did you wire it up like this?

Thanks for the quick reply. I used your set up, but still nothing (I have yellow-live and black-ground lead on the relay). There is something loose in the relay box, I can hear it when I shake it. Will have to call Clearalternative on Monday.

Once again, thanks for your help.

Pawel.

thetophatflash is an unknown quantity at this point
Do the flashers work with the old relay reinstalled? I switched to a similar unit(LP) when I put on new signals. It was plug in and go.

Yes, they work with stock relay (just flash too fast). I must have a defective unit.

Called Clearalternatives and they are shipping a new relay at their cost. The guy was very nice.

Try yellow ground, black live. Thats how my rear LED turn signals are. Its weird but thats the only way they work.

Thanks, I did reverse the wires, but still no blinkers. The new one is in the mail.
