Jets

Simple question.

I am considering a small step in jetting. Stock is 175 f 178 rear...I have stock aircleaner, Bafflectomy, shimmed stock needles...are there jets one size up?
Can I go to say 177 front 180 rear or 178 front (move it up) and 181 rear?
I'm looking for driveability..no delsuions about big power gains.
Dave..

Keihin jets are sized 175, 178, 180, 182, 185, 188, 190. Those are your choices. I think the bike is just a tad rich on the mains from the factory, so with a bafflectomy and stock air filter you really have to take your height above sea level into consideration. I know you're in CAN, but don't know exactly where. I'd venture to say that if you're under 1000ft above sea level you might be able to go one size up. Anything higher and you'll probably end up too rich.

I think we are around 2500 ft..I'll leave it stock..You had recommended that before..I shimmed needles on your advice..Just with the carbs off..Not the simplest thing to get them off..if I was going to to do anything..Nope that's cool going to leave them alone..Did the PAIR removal...waiting for "starter valve and APE CCT's and it goes back together..

Thanks Greg..
