I Need Help Fast
I just bought 41mm vtr1000 forks on ebay today and when they came the were too small for my triple trees......i don't know what kind of front end the person that had it before me put on it so i need to know should i get triple trees or just find new forks again...

You will need to do some measuring, first to make sure the forks you have now are realty 41mm &VTR forks and also to find out what size and which triple clamp is currently installed. Of course pics of both items would make identifying both components much easier....

ok, the forks that i tried to replace are much bigger than the stock 41mm. i have not had time to measure them right now do to the crazy work load the army put on me the last couple days. but i am taking a guess and thinking that the forks on it right now are off a 929rr, yes i think they are 50mm forks, i will measure them this weekend and find out for sure.

Couldn't you see from the pictures on eBay that they looked nothing like what you had?
