Honda Stock performance engine specs

Do you know your Honda engine performance specs for your model/country ?

Looks like it's 78Kw/9000 RPM for my 2001 model in France (but In France, we are legally limited to 106 HP engine power on road).

Yep 106cv on the road...
Imagine an R1 or GSXR 1000 with only 106 cv .... but 180 cv is not useful on the road I think ...
No any good reason to justify this limit but it's the law in France ...

Nobody in France can tell me how our VTRs are limited ... Even our Honda dealers... One idea is the "insulator" ...
Some people says the 1997 was not restricted (115cv) and the 1998 model had restrictors inside insulators.. Don't have yet check it on my 2001...

Difficult to check that ?

Turns out it's pretty easy to check.
I just looked at mine while I had my short velocity stack off.
But you don't need to remove the stack to check for restrictors under the front carb.
Just bungie cord you throttle open,
move the carb slide out of the way with your finger,
and look down though the carb with a flash light.
You'll get a nice view of the back of your intake valves.
Unless you have restrictors, then you view will be obstructed.

Thanks !
Can U explain a little more ?
What do you mean by moving the carb slide out of the way with my finger ?
Do I have to lift the gas tank, open airbox, remove air filter, full open throttle, and check in front velocity stack with a flash light ?
Don' t have to unbolt insulator at the carb side (up) or intake valves (down) ?

To be more precise, the restriction is 106 Hp at the crank.
