Oh, the ziptie/hoseclamp method basicly secures a splint over the plastic piece. So clamp a suitable tube or support to hold it straight until the polaris parts arrive.

Anyway...

Yes, there and yes... a great option for less hassle then making some from polaris parts. If I had know that was an option I would have bought them vs buying and modifying my own..

Hi, I'm desperate I can't find anywhere the right size thread for new plunger as the one in the pictures, can you tell me where I can buy them please?

Otherwise buy the polaris parts. They fit with just a little filing of the flange.
