I have experienced the clutch grab and chatter for the longest time... learned to live with it, but ain't fun when that happens, I did look to try the conversion to clutch cable, but go find varadero parts in the states... seems just easier with Oberon.
So, I did end up ordering directly from the factory as well after reading this thread and just received the the Oberon couple days ago, within 4 days of the order shipped from the UK, really took me by surprise how fast it came :-)
Can't wait to install and test it.

I finally got to test the clutch with the new Oberon slave cylinder.
I most definitely noticed the difference immediately, much smoother engagement and easier control, absolutely love it, don't know why I waited so long...
I took the bike for a 2 hour ride all through back roads, I was really pushing it and the clutch was working really great under different conditions of accelerating and decelerating, worth every penny!
Also, Oberon England sent it in 4 days which took me by surprise, I must say kudos for the super quick service as a regular order.

Good to see you are happy.

I haven't had any probs with my clutch except a few groans when getting right up it.

if the symptoms persist I will follow your route.

Thanks for the heads up !

Straight swap for old slave, system flushed, bled and still grabs like a two year old in a lolly shop.

Question for those that have installed an Oberon slave: If you used the stock line or a braided aftermarket line with similar/same as stock banjo fitting on the slave end, how did it match up to the Oberon? Would a different banjo fitting angle or length have been better?

Straight swap, just did a good flush to the old fluid and bleed the system, works very well.
