Got new motor, any tips?

OK so while racing in NH I was able to connect with a guy selling an 05 motor.(mine blew recently). I have never done a vtr motor swap but have done other bikes. Anyone done this and have tips?

Well I haven't swapped motors but I have had mine out of the frame.

It is pretty easy and straight forward, you just need the special tools to set the proper torque on the hangers. I know some folks have made their own but you would be better off checking to see if someone here has a set they can loan you (if you don't want to buy your own) as the length, of the attachment point of the tool is critical to setting the proper torque.
