Going APE

I have an '02 SH with 4000 miles and since I am home for a little while I ordered some APE CCTs to fool around with while home. I have read all the threads on changing them and I think I have a pretty good handle on how to do it.

I am also toying with the idea of pulling the stock pipes and running them over to Jet-Hot in Dallas for a black treatment.

While down for these things I am going to finally change over my stock brake lines for the red Galfer SS lines I bought over a year ago. One question for the folks who have done this is when running the new lines through the existing clamps, what did you use as a grommet to prevent the bouncing around of the line in the clamp?

I have Hel brake lines and used some silicone rubber hose for grommets, slit lengthways and cut to size.Worked well........

Guess I'll have to head to Home Despot and see what they have in grommet section.
