Sorry to resurrect an old thread, however I am getting ready to do some stick coils and want to do this in conjunction with.

Is it best to cut the green wire and run it to the earth on the battery, or run the cable to the frame as an earth?

What did you do in the end? Do you have any pic So?

What did you do in the end? Do you have any pic So?
No pic but real easy. Cut and ran the green wires from both boxes to the battery directly. Then the green wires left in the loom ran to the frame.

Bike just runs a bit better for it, starts better by a long shot.

I'll give it a go.

My bike starts easily enough even without the choke but hey, I'm thinking it can't hurt!
