exaust

So i have my exhaust of because i have to replace the bent valves dut to a failed cct. the way the exaust is 2 in to 1 into 2 themre does not appear to be a bennifite to having dual exaust. My question is is there a benefit and if not does it make a difference which side i keep for balance?

Dude, you are absolutely and positively wrong in your evaluation. If you look at the header junction it's design to get the exhaust flow as nearly matched as possible. In fact if you look at the right side of the junction you will see that there is a protusion of another pipe, I forget which one. The point is if you were to remove it you would give up 5 horsepower in the midrange. I used to think it was just a manufacturing shortcut but it's not.

Short answer leave it alone!
