I am having a problem with the neutral safety switch. bike running will go into gear and shut off with the kickstand up. will not start holding the clutch in while its in gear. i have taken the sensor off the kickstand it still shuts it off. what would be the most logical problem?

 

Did you just remove the switch or did you remove it and install a jumper wire?

 

I have done both now and it is still shutting off

 

found the problem had a broken wire in the harness itself. the stand switch is bad also

 

thanks for the help. gave me an idea to look in the harness
