Crazy water sensor

Hello Just want to say glad to join this forum.... now to something i think its odd that happen when i was changing the water temp sensor
i have a koso gp style gauges installed with tach and speedo and the temp was always at 0.0˚ so i tested the gauge and came to the conclusion that it was dead so i replace it with a new one but i've just disconnect the conector unscrew the sensor and install the new one my question is shouldn't the coolant splash out when i unscrew the old sensor??????

I think it migth be a problem...

thanks

8541Hawk will become famous soon enough
You will get a small amount while changing the sensor.....
Now if you really do want it to go everywhere, remove the radiator cap and things will be much different without the vacuum lock =)
