Carb question

My hawk has weak bottom end. (but killer top end). Was planning on rejetting but do I have to do a carb sync to do this? Can I just move the needles or is there a thread I can look at which explains better.

Carb sync is the easy part. I would post up what you are running on your bike now. Jet size, type of jet kit, pipes etc, and I'm sure there are a few members that can give you a good base setting.

8541Hawk will become famous soon enough
It's good practice to sync them anytime you remove them but if you mess with the jetting then it is mandatory IMHO......

Ok so I just opened the carbs for the first time. Looks like jet kit stuff, like 3rd from the bottom slot (needle in the 3rd hiest postition. Made it richer but didnt help so tomorrow will go the other way. How am I turning the mixture screw again since they aren't slotted?
