Can someone tell me what the stock fork height is?

I've had my front end off so many times I've lost track. The measurement I'm looking for is from the top triple to the top of the fork tube not including the fork tube cap.

Thanks!

Fired her up today. Now to work the undertail, paint all the plastic, do my graphics, Tapeworks kit, clean it all then pictures! Almost there

It should be real close to the thickness of the stock clip-on clamp. If you need that, I have an old pair I can measure.

Can't wait to see pictures!

This is a coincidence because I've just take this measurement yesterday for my front end swap and on mine it's 1"5/8 or 41.275mm and I'm pretty sure the fork have never been moved... at least for now!

I can't guarentee my forks weren't moved by the previous owner... but before I pulled them to do the valve work I measured 39.5 mm from the top of the triple to the top of the fork tube (not including the fork cap).

The manual says:
Align the stopper ring groove with the top surface of the handlebar.

So, that would be the stock clip-on height to the bottom of the groove.
