Which Cam lube/grease after valve adjustment
Well, i took my head apart the other day to adjust my valves. Only my front needed any assistance. The rear was totally in sync still. Well, anyways, what do you know about the engine lube molybdenum disulfide? I went to my local shucks to pick some up and i found some lube that has it in it. What would you suggest? The Haynes manual i have stated that i needed to add it once i was putting the cams back in. Well, let me know.

I poured oil on the bearings lobes and lifter, since the pump is primed, oil filter loaded, it will take no time to get the oil flowing.
If you feel more comfortable using assembly lube, I feel that they are all good.
When I build an engine bone dry I will use white grease and spin the oil pump to prime (never built a VTR motor yet)
You can pack the whole engine with a 5 gallon of assembly lube, but if you get sand on a lifter, it will do more damage than you could do by starting the engine dry, keep it clean.

I used the stuff i got at shucks. She started right up. Most everything was pretty covered in oil already. It wasn't a dry engine, so i don't think i really had to worry too much. I am going to change the oil in the next 2 days to make sure all of that crap gets out of the engine.
