Best fluids to use

I'm looking to change the fluids in my 1998 Honda vtr 1000. What are the best brands to use for my bike?

Whatever helps you sleep at night...

Coolant is pretty straight forward.
Brake fluid is very straight forward.
And dont think about starting another oil thread... do a few searches about oil and you will come up with vastly differing opinions on what people use and why.

Not trying to sound rude by the way...

I have come up with brands that have worked for me over 20+ yrs of riding and testing:

Red Line for oil (call engineer for best recommendation of weight)
Engine Ice for coolant
Maxima Chain Wax for chain lube (no nasty fling everywhere)
Motul high heat rated brake fluid

I gather several of the local rattlesnakes and squeeze the "fluid" out and use it in all of the openings on the bike. So far so good. The bad ju-ju keeps the cagers away.

Well don't use corn or wheat! I know its easy to find in your parts.

I use semi syn earl & change it every 2 to 3k & before putting it away for Winter. Some peeps swear by all syn, but if U change it often enough - IMO not worth the $. And use what Honda says 10-40
