Attempted theft ignition help

Some sorry piece of turd attempted to steal my bike, and as a result,my ignition is shot. Has anyone replaced the ignition before? The screws are the small star type, except there is a tit in the middle preventing you from using a standard star socket. Does anyone know where to get the tool other than honda or an easy method to remove the screws?? Thanks in advance.

Re: Attempted theft ignition help

yes they are called tamper proof torx screws, general motors uses them all the time....your best bet is to try Sears or you can also get them from Snap on but through them it will cost more..
