anyone have any idea where this gas leak may be coming from? PICs inside

anyone have any idea where this gas leak may be coming from? PICs inside

the bike was originally yellow, rattle canned black by the PO...i think it may be coming from the electrical box thing running down the underside of the tank (picking up the spray paint as it goes) and dripping down the side? any ideas?

Ah Newbies...

If it is from the tank leaking gas on its underside (rather than a hole or bad seam, sloppy handling or some other dufas goof), it could be coming from the tank overflow spigot (the larger one next to the smaller tank vent spigot) because the drain or vent hoses were not installed, or from the fuel level sender (the thing with the 2 wires and 4 nuts) due to inadequate nut tightness or a leaking sender O-ring. I suggest you test using water rather than gas.
