Aftermarket wheels?

So I always like to keep extra wheels on hand in case I need them. I am shopping for a front 07-14 600RR rim.

They are hard to find but found aftermarket units on ebay.

Anyone have any experience with aftermarket wheels?

Unbranded Chinese rims... saw multiple broken no-name car rims (allegedly due to "regular" potholes) at the tire shop while changing my tires. Wouldn't trust this kind of rims on a car, let alone on a bike. Not to mention the price... you only get what you've paid for. A new set of bearings alone is $40-50...

Yeah I agree its a big dice to roll. Kinda how I feel about Chinese rotors. Not where you want a failure.

Hey Joe73
I have some wheels (I think 900rr gold multi spoke) that came with my Bird of Prey, which had two small buckles in the front wheel, the rear looks good. Could not find anyone local to repair. Also front wheel bearings feel rough. You can have them, you just have to pay for the shipping. If interested just PM me.

Buckles?

Also not sure if they swap over to a 600rr. Will look it up. Is the front one useable?

The front was/is usable. If I had to guess, the rookies who had this bike, either the front hit a bad pothole, or they tried to take the tire off with a crowbar, to put new tiers on. Ether way, I was not happy for this bike to have this kind of wheel, without fixing it for the track. When I get a chance I can send you a video of the buckle, and you can decide for your self. The wheels, where ever they came from, are same size as the stock OEM. They are Honda Wheels, from what It see to seems to be ....you tell me.
