The coolant wouldn't be the source of the issues you are having.
Where is the resistance to rotation in relation to where the pistons are? Which cylinder?
Are you sure the CCTs were installed correctly the first time? How did you "check" the CCTs?
A compression test would be helpful. Though I don't know if you'll want to continue to crank the engine.
