Might smoke some and blow a little into the airbox. Mae West might tell you that too much is always better than not enough.

on some motors over filling will run the risk of blowing out seals, but I don't think you have put in too much oil yet.

I always put enough in so that the level was just below the top of the window itself. the bike goes through oil anyway. in a few rides it will be right where you want it.

Overfilling the engine oil on any modern engine runs the risk of foaming the oil and causing engine damage. I don't know if the amount you overfilled is a problem, but I would drain some out...it's very easy.

I always dump an entire 4 quarts of oil into my bike. Never had any burning or smoking, no problems what so ever.

That amount (100 ml) + or - won't affect anything.

+1. that's exactly what I do. and usually, the level ends up right at the top of the window. I've done it this way every oil change for 5 seasons, and so far no issues.

But merlyn put in 4 LITERS. Fill during an oil and filter change is 3.9 liters or 4.1 US quarts, according to the Honda manual.

I dump in 4 quarts, start and run it for 5 minutes, then check the level after it has sat for 5 minutes. I then add carefully to the full mark...it takes about another 1/10 quart. You're fine with just 4 quarts, it's between the marks, but I'm kind of **** about the fill level during oil changes.
