Motorcycle Racer Averts Disaster With Impressive Save

Genki Hagata - High Side save - YouTube

Genki Hagata is a local AFM racer (during an AMA circuit).

His recent race report is here.
He attributes his ability to hold on and get back on due to his gymnastics background.

Oh, and here's a kickass photo.

Yeah makes sense. I think being a gymnast and break dancer makes me real agile when I crash. I can always get right onto my back and tuck arms quick enuff to avoid extra injury.

Talking

Everyone knows somebody who no matter how spectacular the event..Has a better story. This reminds me of the last time I high sided......Well, I did the same thing... except I flew like a bird and crash landed like a ton of bricks. Put a good hurtin' on myself and motorcycle.

You know maybe my high side wasn't like his......I'm always amazed by talented riders.
