Fastest and richest race in the history of motorcycling

I do like the concept. Run what ya brung. No equipment rules except safety gear. Reminds me of the better days of NASCAR, when privateers ran stuff you felt you could have cobbled together, (sort of), and the base racer was sold down the street as stock on monday.
It is a race that I'll invest time in to view as opposed to the overproduced stuff that currently runs. Here's hoping that the video editing actually lets the viewer spectate. I'll watch with the 'mute' engaged anyway, blather I don't need in large amounts.

sounds like an interesting idea! Time will tell if it is worthwhile. Motorcycle racing in the US is at the bottom of the barrel in terms of attendance/coverage, so it wouldn't take much to do better. Nascar, golf, horse racing, bicycling, soccer, pocker, focker and every other half-assed sport get plenty of coverage, so we sure as hell need something to attract some attention, so bring it!
