The beautiful race bike that autoteach led his students in building is in the September 2012 issue of "Motorcyclist" magazine. Nice color photo on page 34 with Aaron Frank standing behind the bike, which he was to ride in the race.

Headline above the photo... "What, It's Not a Desmo?!"

i was a mentor for the program along side bill! The kids truly did an amazing job.

and might i add, bill did a great job keeping these kids under control...they could be a real hand full sometimes...most of the time....but the built an outstanding bike

I feel like a celebrity. I mean, I made it(my name) into the 100 anniversary edition of Motorcyclist, a picture I took did as well, the bike my students built did, my school bus, etc etc... Seriously though, I feel awesome, and I am sure the kids will as well. Thanks VTRsurfer for posting this, as I just found out tonight. And Merckid, I can't wait for our next challenge/calling.
