Your MPG
What kind of mpg are you getting with your SH?
Give your average mpg, list your weight plus gear, list any and all performance modifications and type of riding, ie spirited, cruising, all out, etc.
For example here is my information:
average mpg: 33
weight w/gear: 270#
mods: FP carb kit, 4 degree adv., K&N filter, -1 on drive sprocket, yoshi slip-ons cut down to 14"
type of riding: spirited

I get just a little less than you, Reaper and I have nearly the same equipment on my bike. I'm about a hundred pounds lighter tho prob 175-180 in gear. I need to get my speedo healer installed so I really know. The mechanic next door says I need to get a new jet kit because it is a little rich and really rich when it gets hot in Texas. During the winter it's a screamer.

I'm only getting slightly better. 35 is about the best I can get. Even when just commuting. Although I tend to get a little throttle happy from time to time .
220 lbs
BMC filter, shortened Jardines, FP jets and +4 advance, +2 on the rear.

You could also go and make your own wideband to see how rich you are running.

I've got V&H street baffle cans behind DJ 175f/180r, needle on the 5th and the OEM air filter. 43 tooth rear sprocket.
I keep my tires at 40-42 psi rear and 34-36 psi front. I weigh 165-170 with everything on.
Going 70-80 on the freeway, plenty of roll ons to 90 or 100 for a minute whenever I feel like it I get 43 or 45 mpg no problem.
Throw in a bunch of urban or mountain road riding and it drops to the mid or high 30s.
I've proven I can get 50+ mpg on the highway if I stick to 60-65 mph in 6th and skip the roll ons, but I never want to ride the bike that way.

I get about 39 mpg.
I weigh 225 without gear. I have no idea what I weigh with gear.
I ride at the speed limit, unless there's a nice clean straight on a raod I know, then I'll goose it a bit. Nothing ridiculous.
All stock bike (2005).
