Let me know on the prices for these if you can get them made.

Now where's my shifter? Just kidding Jamie, I am out of the country right now delivering an airplane and I won't be back for at least a week more so no hurry.

For those of you interested I sent off a request for a quote from my machinist, I am requesting 1 set, 5 sets and 10 sets for pricing.
I will post the amounts when I hear back.

That's a great price if they are done right!

1 Australian dollar = 0.9321 U.S. dollars

The kicker is that my target price is to make a complete set! I've been pushing my CNC for a commitment but he's already so busy doing other stuff for me that he's not given me a definite answer yet. The good news is that he's got the part programmed!

220 AUD is around 205 USD... So you are saying you do a set for just over 100 USD? I'd say that's a more than fair pricing... I guess he'd better crank that CNC mill up...

I'd buy a set at that price if he has a dyno run proving they work...LOL

Correct. If you go back to post 300 of this thread you'll see that I'm expecting the price to come in around $100-125 for the set.

Hi Guys,

Sorry that I haven't been able to get anything done yet. I know spring is here... and you guys are all wanting to get out on your bikes.

Anyway... I am actually sitting down right now to work on these. My projected price should be around $120 for the set. It could be less depending on how they run.

I should have my CNC program done today, and I'm hopping to have a rough proto done on Monday. If I get a prototype done... I will need someone to give it a test fit before we put this part into production.

The nice thing about a small shop like mine is that I can normally get things done... the problem is... I'm the only one here, so if I get busy... everything else gets put on hold.

On the plus side... One of the bikes I built is on the cover of the new JC Whittney catalog. (23" front wheel machined by me)

You know, the first thing I'd do to any Victory bike I got close too? I'd rip of the ugly plastic cover with the 10X inches on it... It's ugly beyond description... Having it on a stock bike is bad enough, but still there on that bike?! Nah-uh... Get it of!

The work on the wheels are nice though...

Well my machinist made me a set and now the sets are going to be a bit more than he initially anticipated.
1 set 360.00
2 sets 300
3 sets 260
I can tell him if more are interested and get another quote.

Hi Guys,

OK... I did what I said I would. Today I worked on the prototype. Unfortunatly... my boring bar decided to eat it self. (aluminum welded to it) I will order a new one, more suited for deep holes in aluminum. I should have it in a couple days. If all goes well... I will have a new prototype done before the end of the week.

I got about a 1 inch hole before it got messed up.

I'll keep you guys up to date on it.

I agree... and so do most other Vic owners. But every time I ask someone what they want... they can never tall me. On the left side... it holds the key, and on the right... it covers 2 oil lines, and on a '08 or newer... it's covering some big valve for the emissions crap. (like an EGR)

I've often thought of just making a mount for a fake air cleaner, and it would give it an Harley look.
