Single exhaust...LOUD
So I've put on this used single exhaust that I bought on ebay. The slip can is unknown. It has got any kind of marking whatsoever. The good thing is that I can really tell the weight difference. Also that the bike seems to be running as it should with no lags or popping or anything. Could be just mental, but it seems like it has a little more pep in the middle. The bad, maybe, is that it is loud! Not so much at idle, but between 1000 and 3000 rpm on the throttle, the sound pulses are pretty rockin. After that, it is pretty smooth at higher speeds. Maybe because I've only had the stock pipes with 4 hole bafflectomies per, that it seems a whole lot louder.
So I'm assuming that I should try to repack this unknown can at some point if I want to get it quieter. Or should I just try and put a different can on? Also, anyone have any idea what make this can could be? Need to come up with a better exhaust clamp, strap, bracket. My sucks. Comments....please.

Josh does it have double side by side springs, or at least the mounts anyway, on the inside(swingarm side) of the midpipe and the can? Actually looks like a round Hindle with a homemade clamp. I just sold a pair of these recently and it's identical to the pics I have. Had a round Muzzy (which is VERY similar) on my ZX12 and it has a short inlet pipe as part of the inlet cap like most do, whereas the one in your pic/Hindles have an inlet cap with just a hole and the midpipe slips into the actual can. V&H ss2r's are like this too. Hope this helps.
