Pipes
I've had my VTR now for about a year now, time for some new pipes. I was wondering what are some good pipes for my bike and will I need to get my bike jetted. The louder the pipe the better.

I feel you on that! The round C-4 Two Brother's Carbon Fiber cans look and sound awesome, but with no baffles to purchase on the internet, we'll have to make our own. Neighbors haven't yet complained about my "Guns of the Navarone" going off at 6:30 am each morning...

There is a guy local that is working on low restriction baffle inserts of a universal nature
for "Sportsbike" types that aren't all about setting new records in sonic disruption. In talking to him I am told that the "inserts" will slide in the baffle tube and are secured by stainless
pop rivets. I am considering the possibility for my older Vance&Hines slipons. As he gets on
with the R&D I'll post his prices and applications.

I have the new style oval 2 Brothers cans and got silencer tips (2 bros calls them power tips). They install in 2 minutes.
I love the loud sound without them but my neighbors broadly don't. The tips I got ( I think P1) reduce the volume but leave a good amount of deep rumble.
I think there are other varieties for varying volumes.

I have these cans:
Two Brothers Racing, add an item to your shopping cart: Honda VTR1000 Black Series Dual Slip-on Exhaust System, Standard Mount - M-2 Aluminum canisters 005-700406DM-B
with these tips in black:
Two Brothers Racing, add an item to your shopping cart: M2/M5/M7 P1 Race Pipe PowerTip (-3 to 4 dB) 005-P1
There are 2 others tips that reduce the volume more. I am happy with these. If anything, I wish they had a another tip that reduced the volume less not more than the P1's.

I have the high mount two brothers titanium cans, l liked them at idle they had that deep grumble, but as they warmed up it got quiet, so I cut them down about 2.5 inches and now I'm in love! Still have that throaty rumble and cruising around 3 grand sounds awesome, not to mention when you open it up is just amazing, the reason I kept the bike in the first place instead of flipping it for profit.
