God dam you did a sweet @$$ job on the Tapewerks kit. Did you do it yourself?

What number was it?

Also, how come you taped your header?

Re: My SuperChicken (post your pic too)

Thanks

Well i most toot my own whistle, i looked at all the tape works kits and decided i wanted something different. No tapeworks kit, all hand made and designed by me, good or bad.

I ordered Avery Graphics vinyl A7 series from my local sign shop and used paper to make my own templates.

I did all myself from flat roll vinyl. I am about ready to ditch the silver and try Chrome vinyl (maybe)

The A7 series is really easy to work with, all you need is time, patience, soapy water spray and a hair dryer to help with the concave and convex turns. Stuff is awesome and adhere great.

I wrapped the pipe for performance (suppossidly the fuel burns better as the pipe keeps the heat inside itself) same theroy as jet coating. Its real easy to keep clean, just spray Simple green on it and wash with a water hose.

Thumper,
Couldn't help but notice the exotic, hinged mirror extenders. They look great!
Did you make those, too?

I just picked this 99 shawk up from a guy for 600 dollars. 17000 miles. he lowsided and got scared of it i guess so he let it sit outside in the weather for a little over a year. Needless to say the rings oxidized to the cylinders, so i soaked them for about 3 weeks, then went out put it in 3rd and it came right loose. cleaned the tank, petcock, and hooked everything back up and to my suprize it fired right up, no smoke. all i need is a choke cable and choke needles and itll be right. I am a long time lover of the cbr 900rr and have never owned a shawk, so how does it compare? neways i think i got a hell of a deal on the thing....lol
