mileage dip with pipes and kit??

I just ordered Two Bros slip ons. Know I will love the sound but wondering how much I will hate how bad the mileage is going to get. Anybody noticed a big loss in Mpg with the new exhaust?? I also hear it is a 50/50 with having to jet. If I do this will that hurt me further??

I am not all that worried about the mileage but at 3+per gallon everybody must wonder.

Nanotech is on a distinguished road
I put on some Jardine hi-mounts and didn't notice and drop in regular commuting riding at all. For me the bike sounds super bassy and thumpy at 2500-4000 so that gives me 37-39 mpg ALWAYS.

NOW, that unfortunately is not the whole story, because when I am bombing through narrow twist roads with nobody in site I have to open it up after every curve to hear it pull. A great recipe for beautiful sound is 3-8000 rpm every chance you get. Brake, Turn, Repeat until deaf/satisfied. This gives me 34 mpg.

Also I now idle at 1500, but I have no problem with that...oh yeah, stock jetting.

Any alteration from stock should be re-jetted/shim needles. Plus it will help you get your bike set-up for where you live. Honda sell bikes like cookies, they don't custom set-up bikes for different parts of the country. Best to have it done by a reputable shop who can back up their work. Old addage: "pay now or pay later".

If you actually jet the bike correctly you will see an increase in MPG and hp. I did, anyway.

No pun intended (or maybe it is ), but YMMV.

As long as you control your wrist that is.
