Ignition Advancer question for '99 vtr

Hi people,

By installing an ignition advancer, does it have an affect on the jetting specs installation recommendations by the manufacturer?

Like raising the needle clip, +/- main jet #, etc?

Thanks,

Eddie

RCVTR is an unknown quantity at this point
Not really. Teh bike will run better rejetted, because you will get rid of the lean carburetion at the EPA testing RPM ~7k rpm. Thsi may prevent detonation with ignition advance, but I haven't heard of that problem.

You can advance the ignition by opening the holes on the pickup and rotating it counterclockwise.
