Chain and Sprockets Time

Time to replace and I am looking for what people have done. Stick 530 with 41-16 or switch it up. Very very minimal freeway riding. I have different bikes for that. I live in an area that is lakes with beautiful twisty County and state highways.

Go up 2 in the rear or down 1 in front; I run a 520 DID ZVMX and Superlite sprockets.

Gutsier and keeps the rpm in a more usable range for street use. Minimal negative effect on mileage.

Going to a 520 is there anything that needs to be done like spacers?

No, the sprockets are made to center the chain to OE centerline. Just be careful removing and installing rear sprocket nuts, as always.

I say stay 530 for durability and go 16/43. Get a SuperSprox rear. They're the bee's knee's. If you can tell a big difference in 520 vs. 530, you missed your calling and should be on the grid raceday.

In fact I have to replace my chain I'm gonna keep the sprockets I have on there because they just have a bit over 14000 and there are 520 15 front and 44 rear which is the same as going with a 16 front 47 rear basically

I just ordered an EK 520 chain in red which is a first for me 1st for me
It's a lot easier when you don't have to replace the sprockets though I still will take off the counter shaft cover and clean the inside and verify the Is little sprocketIs in good shape

With a spare Master link shipped 3 day I think it was about a 130 bucks or so

Sprocket center is a good source source for kits But for only a new chain it was cheaper from motosport
