well finally got the major issues solved!
the report is... WOW! this is well worth
the trouble. this mod (along with a decent
rear shock) has converted my Superhawk
into a VTR1000RR!!!! it handles very close
to my old NSR250! a fair bit beefier, but
very similar!!!!
thanks to all who ventured b4 me!!!
now i can use more power!!!

that sounds great. when will you posts some pics and outline of what the issues were? would be useful to whoever is next to do this particular swap. I did an rc51 front, and penske shock and couldn't agree with you more.

could post pictures later, however, i am not finished and i did not document the
modification. i simply followed the procedures that others have outllined so
dilligently.
